What is IP Tracker?

IP Tracker is a term for the eponymous website, where you will find everything you need to detect, track and trace IP Address online, using the latest tracking technology.

But first of all let us wish you a warm greeting and welcome as our visitor from Ashburn United States Track an IP address at a location in the United States. Before you move on to getting to know our website, let us briefly introduce you to the content you can find here.

We have put a lot of our time, knowledge, patience, effort and will into this project in order to enable you to use all our IP tools absolutely free of charge through the practical realization of our ideas.

Visualization through Geo Maps is enabled to find the location where its application was possible and purposeful, because it makes searching for IP or domain owner information more complete.

We would also like to thank the team behind IP-Address.org project for inspiration in creating various IP tools. Our IP tracer, for example, is inspired by their tracing tool.

However, we have added many interesting elements within our tracker such as reverse DNS, then a list of all nameservers related to IP or domain, type of internet speed, ASN which identifies the network operator via a unique number, and an overview of weather conditions in the city, associated with IP.

And let's not forget that we've enabled search results for both versions protocols, IPv4 and IPv6.

Our idea was to provide a complete overview of all relevant information that can be obtained based on IP, including all IP relevant tools, such as email address validation and sender tracing and search for answers to the question of which owns a particular domain or range of IP blocks, in which insight is provided by the so-called Whois lookup.

What is IP Tracking?

IP tracking is the technology behind our project that allows you to easily search, find, track and trace the location of not only your public IP, but also the location of any other publicly accessible IP or domain in the world.

"What is My IP" and "IP Lookup" are frequently searched terms on the internet.

And not without reason, as we live in a time of increased internet activity where we often find ourselves wanting to know more, whether we or our relatives or friends, are victims of rommance, dating scammers, fraudelent emails with inheritance scam letter or frauduletent websites.

What you really need to do is gather as much information as you can about the IP address you are looking for, whether you're doing it out of pure curiosity or because you're a victim of a scam?

The question arises, how and what is the best method?

How to track IP?

There are two ways to trace an IP, as well as a website, to its location:

  1. The first is through the use of our tracking technology
  2. The second is an old-fashioned but still extremely useful way, via the MS-DOS command 'tracert'
  1. If you have the technology and resources to accurately track IP, its implementation is a purely technical matter. Namely, the key to our technology lies in three basic tools, without which tracking the IP location, then finding out more information about the IP address, the website owner and the website itself, would be practically impossible. These are DNS, Whois and IP lookup and all three are available on our website:
    • Whois is a multifunctional lookup tool, since you can check IP addresses, domains, and AS numbers at the same time. It will allow you to find out information about the ISP, which actually owns a certain block of IP addresses and therefore has sensitive details about its users as well as domain information. Very useful in case of contact as Whois also provides insight into how to contact the owner. Along with the phone and email, there is information about which organization or individual it is.
    • DNS Lookup is a logical continuation of Whois tool and is focused on an in-depth analysis of all elements of DNS records for a given domain, where with a check of more than 70 tests, it indicates possible contradictions, irregularities, as well as suggestions with the aim of increasing the stability, functionality and security of the website.
    • IP Lookup is not just another IP address locator, as often seen on other websites dedicated to IP addresses. That unique tool which, in addition to its uniqueness, also includes basic elements of Whois and DNS techniques, will not only reliably show you what your IP is, but will also give you information about the location found by your IP, as well as other related details regarding your publicly available IP, including a visual representation of your location on the Geo Map at the time of the search.
  2. The second way is, as we have already mentioned, the old-fashioned way using the Windows command 'tracert' from your computer, it is also possible to partially trace IP. Why partially? Because you will get the entire route to the destination, divided into hops, each of which has a unique IP, but not exactly the location.
    Traceroute trace method.

    How it looks in practice?

Follow these steps: Click on the Windows logo, then in the search field type the command 'cmd' (without quotation marks), a black Command Prompt window will open. Type tracert IP or tracert website, where 'IP' is the number of the IP address and 'website' is the domain name of the website.

This method will give you the whole IP tracking process by following the route from your computer to the destination and is known as a traceroute.

Also of great practical importance can be a tool that can help you in tracing the email sender.

Namely, in case you have doubts about the email you received and want to find out where the sender actually came from and has sincere intentions, then an email finder is certainly unavoidable, which with the help of email header has the ability to trace the email sender.

What Is The Difference Between IP Tracker And IP Lookup tool?

The question we often get is what is the difference between IP Tracker and IP Lookup? Both are similar IP tools. The only difference is that the IP tracker was developed to track more information about your own IP and the PC behind it.

So in addition to your IP, host and nameserver, you can also get details about your computer system, the type of browser, which language the browser uses and whether the browser sends you information in the proxy header

Our IP lookup, also known by our visitors as IP Locator, was developed to lookup IP and domain names and to obtain all information regarding any IP other than your own. We recently expanded it with DNS records elements that you will receive during your lookup for domain information.

Enter an IP or domain name, then find and track an IP location using our free lookup tool.
